The Adobe Technical Communication Suite provides an integrated solution for technical communicators who wish to create and publish engaging, interactive content. With its combination of best-in-class tools, the Adobe Technical Communication Suite supports technical communicators in authoring, managing, and publishing technical information to books, PDF, online help systems, knowledge bases, and e-learning systems, in multiple formats and languages.
During this intensive hands-on workshop, students will gain experience with the components of the Adobe Technical Communication Suite.

The Instructors
Matt Sullivan, GRAFIX Training & Consulting
Matt Sullivan is the founder and president of GRAFIX Training & Consulting. Matt’s background in digital prepress prepared him for his current job, helping companies and individuals produce content using both the Adobe Technical Communication Suite and Adobe Creative Suite. He regularly trains groups in all related applications and also consults in document conversion and template design for both structured and unstructured documents. He is an Adobe beta tester and regular Adobe representative at industry conferences.
Kevin Siegel, IconLogic, Inc.
Kevin A. Siegel is the founder and president of IconLogic, Inc. He has written more than 100 step-by-step computer training books including: "Essentials of Adobe Captivate 3, Essentials of Adobe Captivate 2, Essentials of Adobe RoboHelp 7 HTML, Essentials of Adobe RoboHelp 6 HTML, Essentials of Adobe Dreamweaver CS3, Essentials of QuarkXPress 7, Accelerated QuarkXPress 6, Essentials of Adobe InDesign CS3 and Essentials of Adobe PageMaker 7.
Kevin spent five years in the U.S. Coast Guard as an award-winning photojournalist and has more than 25 years experience as a print publisher and technical writer. He is a certified technical trainer, has been a classroom instructor for more than 15 years and is a frequent speaker at trade shows and conventions.
Logistics
A laptop should be configured with Adobe RoboHelp 7 HTML, Microsoft Word 2002 or newer, Intel Pentium 4 processor, Microsoft Windows Vista, Windows XP, or Windows 2000, 256MB of RAM and 900MB of available hard-disk space.
Students should bring a laptop computer with the Adobe Technical Communication Suite installed. A 30-day trial version of the Adobe Technical Communication Suite is available from www.adobe.com/go/trytcs. Demo software on DVD (not CD-ROM) will also be provided at the workshop.
