Student Chapters

STC student chapters are located at colleges and universities, primarily in North America.

Iowa St. U.

Welcome to the Iowa State University chapter of the Society for Technical Communication. STC is dedicated to the status and professional standards of workplace technical communication.

James Madison U.

Established in the fall of 1999, JMU STC offers students unique opportunities to network with other JMU STC members, obtain professional contacts, gain recognition for their work, and learn more about the technical communication field.

Missouri Science & Technology

The STC student chapter at Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla is the only STC chapter in the Eastern half (i.e., the St. Louis side) of Missouri. Although our primary mission is to serve the needs of Missouri S&T undergraduate and graduate students in technical communication, the chapter welcomes professional technical communicators and other non-students as members.

Missouri State University

The Missouri State Student Chapter of STC serves the needs of technical communication students in Springfield, Missouri.

Texas Tech. U.

The purposes of our chapter are to promote interest in technical communication and to encourage the professional development of students in technical communication. We strive to help students build their professionalism and knowledge.

University of North Texas-Eagle Technical Communications

Eagle Technical Communication (ETC), a student chapter of the Society for Technical Communication (STC), gives University of North Texas students the opportunity to learn about technical communication, use their technical communication skills, build their leadership and volunteer experience, and meet other students interested in the technical communication field.
