STC's Technical Communication Summit: Call for Proposals

Technical communication is the process of conveying complex information in a way people can receive, understand, and use it.

The Society for Technical Communication invites you to contribute your ideas, studies, experience and expertise at our Technical Communication Summit 2008, the 55th Annual Conference of the Society for Technical Communication.

The Society advances the theory and practice of technical communication across all user abilities and all media. Consequently, the core content of the Summit's education program will be based on six tracks that span the profession. Those tracks are detailed in this call for proposals. The work you are doing and have done is an important element in the education process, and we invite you to share it with Summit attendees.

The Summit is scheduled:
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
June 1–4, 2008

Proposals are due:
5 PM EDT, Friday, October 19, 2007.
(All proposals must be submitted through our online submission system.)

The deadline for submitting proposals has passed. Thank you for your participation in the Technical Summit. CURRENTLY, THIS IS A TEST APPLICATION SO PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT ANY PROPOSALS.
