Marta Rauch

Candidate for Nominating Committee

Marta Rauch is a senior principal information developer at Oracle, where she leads cloud and mobile projects, and participates in initiatives for enterprise gamification, Google Glass, and wearable technology.

An STC Associate Fellow, Marta is a frequent presenter for conferences, webinars, and chapter meetings. She has published articles for STC's Intercom magazine, IEEE, HCII, and the Center for Information Development Management Best Practices.

Marta has received 15 STC awards for individual and team projects at the regional and international level, and is vice president and program manager for STC Silicon Valley Chapter. She contributes to STC Summit as a judge for International Summit Awards, proposal reviewer, and track manager for mobile content.

Marta holds a BA from Stanford University, a teaching credential, and a certificate from UC Extension in managing the development of technical communication. She is a Certified Gamification Designer.

Candidate Statement

As a member of the Nominating Committee, I will serve STC and help deliver value to STC members around the world. I bring to this position a strong network of technical communicators at the chapter and international level, and a proven ability to work well with others to deliver results.

I pledge to carry on committee business and help develop an outstanding slate of candidates for Society elections. On the Nominating Committee, I will help build and strengthen STC leadership to increase the Society’s ability to serve, and to enhance the experience of members worldwide.
