The Community Achievement Award recognizes a SIG, professional or student chapter's outstanding accomplishments in achieving the Society's goals through a wide range of programs and activities.

Nomination process: Please consult the guidelines for the complete nomination process.

Who is eligible: Any STC Professional Chapter, Special Interest Group (SIG), or Student Chapter is eligible to apply for a community achievement award.

Due date for 2015 nominations: 29 January 2016

Community Executive Council will be notified of approval: After vote by STC Board of Directors, usually in February

Awards Presented: At the Honors Reception at the STC Technical Communication Summit.

For planning for the 2016 Calendar Year below are the revised Community Achievement Award Guidelines and Application: 

COMPLETED APPLICATIONS AND SUPPORTING MATERIALS SHOULD BE SENT TO  MARYKAY GRUENEBERG AT marykay.stc@gmail.com . 

2016 Calendar Year Applications will be due 29 January 2017.
