@Debbie: Well, that is progress! Please let us know if you receive anymore multiple notifications by posting a discussion or wall post to the My STC Feedback group or the Get Satisfaction via the "Feedback" tab on the side of the screen.

@Rick: Thanks for the reply. I will keep looking into this issue.

Rick: We're still looking into the double notifications you are getting. Are they going to the same email address? We noticed you had more than one email in iMIS.

Hi, Debbie & Gregg, just checking back in to see if you are still getting multiple notifications for group discussion posts. Is it just this group or other groups as well?

Gregg, are you still receiving that many notifications for every Discussion post or was it a one-time event?

I am looking into the PHPMAILER issue. I suspect there was a backlog of notifications for some members that may have cleared out now as long as they don't continue to get 17 notifications for every post. It should only be one. I will check into the double notifications. I hadn't heard that as an issue since the first round of testing.

Jason: Not sure if it is related, but I continue to get duplications for every single MySTC notification. Also, another person also said that he received 17 notifications from this thread, too. I have a feeling that it is related to the PHPMAIL error that was logged last week.

Did you get this notification 17 times as well? If not, perhaps the back-log has cleared and it won't be an issue moving forward.

Thanks, Jason. That is certainly one way of taking care of the problem, but I actually WANT to be notified of new things posted to the group.

Hi, Deborah,

I am not certain why you got 17 notifications all at once, but you can turn them off altogether by editing Profile > Privacy Settings. It may have had something to do with a backlog of communications that didn't get sent out, though the system is designed to send a single response for every reply to a thread you have commented on. Hope this helps!

Thanks, Rick. I really dislike that feedback tool. I'll find some other way to deal with this.

Hi Deborah: I'm not sure what the issue would be... but you can use the FEEDBACK tab on the left side of the page to report issues.

I'm not sure where to address this, so I'll do it here. I have 17 email notifications for this discussion in my inbox. I've looked at my profile to see if there is something I need to edit or reset, but I don't see anything. Could someone please figure out why I might get 17 notifications? I would prefer to get only one. Thank you.
