Honoring and Thanking STC Fellow Avon Murphy
STC Fellow Avon Murphy recently stepped down after many years as book review editor for the Technical Communication journal after he finalized an eponymous endowment at his alma mater, Washington State University. His Tech Comm colleagues didn't let him leave empty-handed, however, surprising him with a donation of more than $1,800 towards his endowment at a breakfast during the Summit. STC thanks Avon for his years of service and congratulates him on the completion of his endowment! For more information about Avon and his career, read this article from his alumni newsletter, Nexus.
